Assessment of the New CIPD Qualifications
Still, the new CIPD qualifications require written assessments at every level. The assessments are set by CIPD, often in the form of a report. Ideally, the assessment tests look more like a document that a learner submits to senior leadership to put advance a recommendation on a new idea or system.
At CIPD Level 3 and 5 the written assessments are based on the learning objectives for the module while at Level 7, the learning objectives are intertwined throughout the assessment.
However, the CIPD Leve 3 no longer has the practice in-class assessments. At Level 7, the learner will no longer have to complete the two national exams, as the content is now covered through assignment work. Regardless, the learner will still complete a 7000-word research project on an aspect concerning HR or L&D of your choice.
